Services offered in Children’s homes for 6-18 years old, mixed boys and girls:
- PACT therapy sessions
 - contact centre
 - independent living skills
 - support children to develop confidence, promote strengths, reward positive behaviour, commitment to individual human rights
 - support for children with learning needs - each child will have an allocated key worker
 - short / long term respite and emergency care
 - in house tutoring
 - independent skills programme
 - risk assessments
 - clinical supervision
 - regular reviews
 
			Activities
The type of activities that will take place in the home include;-
- Cooking activities including chopping food, making mixtures and learning to use general kitchen equipment, setting the table, washing up and tidying the kitchen area.
 - Developing independence skills like following a shopping list and buying items from a store using correct money or a card.
 - Developing independence skills around selfcare i.e feeding, washing, dressing and toileting without prompting.
 - Developing a preferred method of communication such as PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System to increase independence and choice making skills.
 - Supporting the children develop personal safety skills including recognising when they are hurt, calling 999, using a cold compress.
 - Developing travelling skills by learning the highway code and road safety skills.
 - Developing concentration skills to enable the children to be able to learn new things and develop new skills.
 - Develop social skills that will enable children to learn things like turn taking and social interaction.
